Open Dutch Fiber constructs and manages fiber optic networks primarily in urban areas. To install these networks, they rely on the cooperation of residents in those neighbourhoods.
Since the previous explainer video we made worked so well for their target audience, Open Dutch Fiber (ODF) approached us for a second explainer video. This time we had to explain to residents of high-rise buildings how the ODF fiber installation works for them and how long the entire installation process takes.
ODF often encounters residents who are not proficient in the Dutch language or have low-literacy. Since a portion of the work takes place behind the front doors of these residents they make use of explainers whose content could also be understood without knowledge of the Dutch language. Using animated content, ODF has already connected more than a million homes to their network, spread across 56 municipalities.
